Board Meeting

July 8, 2019

Meeting was called to order by Vice President Scott Tweed at 6:30 pm at the beach. Board members present were: Scott Tweed, Ray Chicoine, Chris Katan, Geoff Willis, Bob Allison, Stuart Pratt

Roll Call of Board Members took place.

Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the June 10, 2019 Board Meeting were handed out, read, and accepted.

Treasurer’s Report: Checking Account balance is $11,303.88, Savings Account balance is $292.52 for a grand total of $11,596.40

Tax Collectors report: Approximatly$12,000 balance

Old Business

• Stairs and Railing at the end of Hickory, table for now
• New plexiglass for bulletin board, needs to be rebuilt, Bob taking point.
• LVTA FAQ Chris Katan is working on this.
• Coventryfest went well
• Handicap parking, Sign has arrived, need post.
• Move money from savings account to checking account, and close savings.
• Form for Coventry; elected officers, will go out at the end of the month
• Paint parking lines at beach

New Business

• Problem with dogs at the beach Order 3 No dogs allowed signs, and 2 dogs allowed here signs
• Unanimous decision not to change rule prohibiting dogs from beach.
• $500 for sand appropriated.
• Goose spray, Geoff will get Bob link for purchase of more Goose spray.
• $300 appropriated to extend dock.

Next meeting will be Monday August 5, 2019 @ 6:30 pm at the beach.

June 10, 2019

Meeting was called to order by President Lisa Martin at 6:31 pm at the beach. Board members present were: Lauren Curtis, Chris Katan, Bob Allison, Geoff Willis, Scott Tweed, Lisa Martin

Roll Call of Board Members took place.

Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the May 5, 2019 Annual Meeting were handed out, and accepted.

Treasurer’s Report: Checking Account balance is $16,955.37, Savings Account balance is $292.52 for a grand total of $17,247.89

Old Business

• Ski club installed dock and buoys
• Buoys will need to be numbered
• Mowing have Andover mow ball field until new quotes come in
• Beach cleanup went well
• Stairs and Railing at the end of Hickory committee needed, check Andover quote.
• New plexiglass for bulletin board, needs to be rebuilt
• LVTA FAQ Chris Katan will bring to next meeting.
• Coventryfest June 29, 2019, Rain date June 30, 2019. June 28, 2019 7:00pm ballfield for fence
• Handicap parking, Sign is in, need post.
• Move money from savings account to checking account, and close savings.
• Ramp to dock is installed
• Goose spray appears to have been effective at 2x concentration

• Form for Coventry; elected officers

Annual Meeting

May 5, 2019

Meeting was called to order by Vice President Lisa Martin at the Coventry town hall at  2:03 pm  Board members present were Lauren Curtis, Chris Katan, Lisa Martin, Geoff Willis, Ray Chicoine, Stuart Pratt, Scott Tweed

Roll call of Board Members took place.

Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the May 6, 2018 Annual Meeting were handed out, read and accepted, and the September 10, 2018 Board Meeting were handed out, read, and accepted

Treasurer’s Report: Checking Account Balance $17,600.24, Savings Account Balance $292.52, Total $17,892.76.

Tax Collector’s Report:

Total collected $11,074.99, 2018 Past due Balance $8,749.96

Budget:

2019-2020 Budget passed at 1 mil with $371.70 shortfall to come from reserves.

Old Business

• Ramp to dock has come in
• Goose spray appears to have been effective at 2x concentration, we will try the same this year

New Business

• Ski club will install dock and buoys on 5/18 Buoy inspection team 5/15 at 5:30pm at ball field
• 2 New Picnic Tables not needed this year.
• Mowing have Andover mow ball field until new quotes come in
• Beach cleanup 5/18 at 10:00 am
• Stairs and Railing at the end of Hickory look at during beach cleanup
• New plexiglass for bulletin board, look at during beach cleanup
• LVTA FAQ come up with answers to frequently asked questions.

Election of Officers:

President Bob Allison stepped down as President, re-elected to board, Lauren Curtis re-elected to board. Lisa Martin elected as president, Scott Tweed elected as Vice President.

September 10, 2018

Meeting was called to order by President Bob Allison at 6:09 pm at Chris Katan’s house. Board members present were: Bob Allison, Geoff Willis, Lauren Maciag, Chris Katan.

Roll Call of Board Members took place.

Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the August 20, 2018 Meeting were handed out, read and accepted.

Treasurer’s Report: Checking Account balance is $18,141.56, Savings Account balance is $292.52 for a grand total of $18,434.08

Tax Collector’s Report: Nothing new to report

Old Business

• Ramp to dock vote to spend $517 plus shipping on ramp, gwillis will order
• Mow upper beach parking lot, gwillis will mow
• Mow ball field, Zach Plourde will mow
• Sani can and Dock/Buoy will be removed by 9/16 Chris Katan will arrange.
• Stairs and Railing at the end of Hickory, vote on at May meeting
• Goose spray appears to have been effective at 2x concentration, we will try the same next year
• Fall cleanup Sunday 9/16 at 9:00am
• Drone complaints: Drones are regulated by the FAA, not the LVTA

New Business

• LVTA FAQ come up with answers to frequently asked questions.

Next meeting will be Sunday May 5, 2019 @ 2:00 pm at the town hall.

 Roll Call of Board Members took place.

 Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the July 9, 2018 Meeting were handed out, read and accepted.

 Treasurer’s Report: Checking Account balance is $17,950.59, Savings Account balance is $292.52 for a grand total of $18,243.11

Tax Collector’s Report: Total collected $9,560.95, Outstanding balance $10,265.68
