LVTA Beach

August 11, 2025

Meeting was called to order by President Tom Shea at the LVTA Beach at 6:34 pm Board members present were Geoff Willis, Bob Allison, Tom Shea, Dave Delorme, Dawn Muller

Roll call of Board Members took place.

Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the July 14, 2025 Board Meeting was handed out, read and accepted

Treasurer’s Report: $48,669.05.56 checking account balance

Tax Collector’s Report:$29,812.88 collected, $5,093.63 collectable balance

Old Business

• T&B motors car towing Contract signed, purchase signs (unanimous vote).
• Boat rack, and abandoned boats, revisit at end of season.
• Installed new buoys
• Spray for poison ivy again at fall cleanup, Geoff Willis
• Boat stickers came in and have been mailed
• Trees at end of Crestwood, Voted to go with least expensive quote
• Unaccompanied guests, check cars, not people.
• Paint speed bumps, spray paint needs to be ordered
• Look into recording annual meeting
• Look into online tax payments
• Advertise facebook page add to bill, postcard and email
• Mirror for Hickory, $260 for two, unanimous vote
• Check prices for sand for beach for May meeting
• Quotes for road, get quotes again.

New Business

• Buoys, order 200 more feet. Unanimous vote
• Dog park at ball field, look into liability

Meeting was called to order by President Tom Shea at the LVTA Beach at 6:35 pm Board members present were Geoff Willis, Bob Allison, Paul Dineen, Tom Shea, Dave Delorme, Dawn Muller

Roll call of Board Members took place.

Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the May 4, 2025 Annual Meetingwas handed out, read and accepted

Treasurer’s Report: $28,568.56 checking account balance

Tax Collector’s Report:No change

Old Business

• Look into T&B motors car towing Contract signed, purchase signs (unanimous vote).
• Boat rack, and abandoned boats, revisit at end of season.
• Install buoys 7/20 at 10:00am
• Coventryfest went well
• Spray for poison ivy again at fall cleanup, Geoff Willis
• Boat stickers came in with adhesive on wrong side, contact company Geoff Willis
• Trees at end of Crestwood, All American $2500, need more quotes for removal

New Business

Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the May 4, 2025 Annual Meetingwas handed out, read and accepted

Treasurer’s Report: No change

Tax Collector’s Report:

Total Collected: $23,962.73 Outstanding balance: $8,071.33

Old Business

• Look into sign for top of Maple, Kevin rebuilt, Stephen Beeching built post, and installed
• Look into T&B motors car towing no liability is incurred by LVTA. Contract needs to be signed
• Boats that were removed, and possible new boat rack will be revisited at the end of the season
• Buoys Tom Shea ordered more
• Beach cleanup went well
• Spray for poison ivy, Geoff Willis

New Business

• Coventryfest 6/27 7:00pm install fence. Coventryfest 6/28, Cleanup of beach/jetty 6/29 at 10:00am
• Boat stickers, order more Geoff Willis
• Trees at the end of Crestwood, Need quotes for removal

May 4, 2025

Meeting was called to order by President Tom Shea at the Coventry town hall at 2:00 pm Board members present were Stuart Pratt, Dawn Muller, Geoff Willis, Bob Allison, Paul Dineen, Tom Shea, Dave Delorme

Roll call of Board Members took place.

2025-2026 Budget passed at 2 mil.

Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the May 5, 2024 Annual Meeting, and the September 9, 2024 board meeting, were handed out, read and accepted

Treasurer’s Report: Checking Account Balance $39,771.63

Tax Collector’s Report:

Total Collected: $23,147.34 Outstanding balance: $8,886.72

Old Business

• Look into sign for top of Maple, Kevin rebuilt, need post, Tom LaFrance will look into post
• Look into T&B motors car towing no liability is incurred by LVTA. Dave Delorme will contact, and enter into agreement
• Boats that were removed, and possible new boat rack will be revisited at the end of the season
• Buoys and dock connectors, Tom Shea bought, buoys will be put in at beach cleanup, connectors, and stickers in the fall.

New Business

• Beach cleanup 5/18 10:00am
• Spray for poison ivy, Geoff Willis
• Trees at the end of Crestwood, Geoff Willis will look at.

Tax Collector’s Report:

Collected $16,870.69 Outstanding $15,163.37

Old Business

• Look into sign for top of Maple, too expensive, Kevin rebuilt, need post, Dawn will look into
• Look into T&B motors car towing looking into liability
• Mowing at LVTA beach in front of the old Martin place. German Ochoa volunteered to mow
• Shoreline cleanup, too expensive for one time cleanup that won’t solve the problem
• Dead trees, Approved $2,600 Unanimous vote

New Business

• Landscaping would cost $14,600

• Clean up trail to the rest of Association Beachfront in front of the old Martin place complete, need to fix muddy spot to get mower down path
• Ski club, install dock and buoys
• Need volunteer with boat to remove buoys
• Beach cleanup 5/11/24, and 5/19/24 at 10:00am
• Hire Surveyor to set markers for LVTA property at trail to the rest of Association beachfront in front of the old Martin place, Money is in the budget, Waiting on price.
