Meeting was called to order by Vice President Bob Allison at 6:34 pm at the beach. Board members present were: Mike Martin, Christina Pierce, Marcia Roy, Bob Allison and Geoff Willis.
Roll Call of Board Members took place.
Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the July 7, 2015 Board Meeting were handed out, read and accepted.
Treasurer’s Report: Checking Account balance is $13,505.08, Savings Account balance is $292.52 and CD Balance is $15,473.11.

- Bulletin board new one to be installed at beach by Mike Martin Scott Tweed/Stuart Pratt working on refurbishment of old board.
- Beach sand has been delivered, needs to be raked out.
- Signs, will be ordered soon, no dogs, no fishing, do not enter.

New Business
- Hobby Day Stuart Pratt suggested having a Hobby Day where residents showcase their hobbies at the ball field
- Beach passes: New England Fly Boarding was operating their business out of the LVTA beach, resulting in a large number of trespassers. Christina shooed them away, and they haven’t returned.
- Boat stickers Serialized boat stickers for boats that are moored/stored at the beach: look into crafting a bylaw
- Docks & buoys, $300 allocated from the budget for ski club to take out dock and buoys.
Next meeting will be Wednesday September 9, 2015 @ 6:30 pm at the beach

- Landscaping we should reach out to Lakewood heights for insight into their work. Wetlands commission meets 4th wed. of month, vote to do work would be at next years annual meeting. Work would have to be done when lake is at winter level, we will need to solicit bids for the work.
- Christina to chair potluck, $50 from budget for supplies.
- Email list will be ready for next meeting
- Tag sale LVTA will participate in next years townwide tagsale.
- Tax Collector Stuart Pratt to transition into the role on August 20.
- Derrick Pierce will be the new alternate board member.

Treasurer’s Report: Checking Account balance is $13,349.22, Savings Account balance is $292.52 and CD Balance is $15,471.17.
Secretary’s Report: Minutes of the May 3, 2015 Annual Meeting were handed out, read and accepted.
Tax Collector’s Report: None, Tax Collector wasn’t present.
Old Business
- Handrail at the end of Lakeview Dr.: Discuss Options at next meeting.
- Dock: Sean Butler contacted ski club, which did a great job putting in the Dock and buoys.
- Picnic tables 2 will be purchased for a total of less than $320 after July 1.
- New Bulletin Board: See if we can return the new one, Stuart Pratt and Scott Tweed will co-ordinate to see if building a new one can be done for a reasonable price.
- Beach cleanup went well.
- Porta potty: Marcia ordered, and it is in place
- Beach sand, will discuss at next meeting
- Swimming area: 2 buoys, 18 stickers, floats, locks and rope came in, will be installed next year.
- Signs committee. Signs decided upon, will be ordered after July 1
- Mailing additions to tax bill, Bob Allison composed letter, Geoff Willis created the survey.
New Business
- Coventryfest: 6-27-15 Work party Thursday 6/25/15 7:00 pm, volunteers needed to check beach passes from 3pm 6/27/15. Cleanup Sunday 6/28/15 10:00 am.
- Coventryfest: LVTA will donate $100 to the coventryfest fund.
- State Marshall to collect back taxes: Board will review on case by case basis of 5+ years delinquent taxes. Next meeting
- Pavilion vs. Landscaping: Surveys still coming in
- Potluck: Surveys still coming in
- Tagsale: Surveys still coming in
- Email list: will be ready for distribution at next meeting

Discussion took place regarding the Budget. Proposed Mil Rate will be set at 1 Mil, shortfall to come from reserve. Budget accepted.
Old Business:
- Handrail at the end of Lakeview Dr. Options will be discussed at June meeting.

New Business:
- State Marshall to collect back taxes- Board will review at June meeting on case by case basis of 5+ years delinquent taxes.
- Picnic tables 2 will be purchased for a total of less than $320
- New Bulletin Board will be purchased for $380
- Beach cleanup 5/7 at 6:30pm and 5/16 9:00am
- Porta potty Marcia will order on May 15th, Mike martin will clean and mark area where it is to be installed
- Beach sand, Mike Martin will get a price for sand
- Swimming area: 2 buoys, 18 stickers, floats, locks and rope needed for a total of $2900 $1500 from reserve will be moved into 2014-2015 beach budget to accommodate shortfall.
- Signs committee will meet on 5/7 at 6:30 after we unlock picnic tables.
- Pavilion vs. Landscaping, will discuss at June meeting
Election of Officers: 2 alternate positions are opened. Sean Butler to move from alternate board member, to board member.

- Handrail at the end of Lakeview Dr. Geoff Willis will look into safety standards required for installation.
- Goose Repellant Bird B Gone has been ordered, and will arrive soon.
- Mowing of Beach and Ball Field Zachary Tweed will be mowing the Beach and Ball Field.
- New Picnic Tables, $175.00 from an individual in Coventry who will deliver. Bob Allison will order, with delivery to be scheduled after July 1.
- New Basketball hoop installed by Bob Allison, Geoff Willis, and Jacob Plourde
- Locks for the boat ramp and ball field were purchased by Christina Pierce, see Bob Allison for access to the ball field shed.
New Business:
- Refurbish of the Bulletin Board – Geoff Willis will rebuild.
- Porta Potty has been delivered.
- Coventryfest: Fencing will be put up Friday 6/27 at 7:00 pm. Volunteers needed for checking beach passes on Saturday 6/28. There will be 3 shifts, 11-3, 3-6, 6-10. Beach cleanup will be Sunday 6/29 at 10:00 am.
- Email list Scott Tweed will send out a list of email addresses that we have.
- Meeting Reminders will be sent a week before each meeting by the Secretary along with the meeting agenda.
- Potholes in front of 42 Hickory are becoming a problem. Mike Martin will contact the town garage.
- Volunteers needed to install the dock. Poles are next to shed at ballfield, hardware is at Mike Martins house.
- 3 signs will be procured for the beach to remind residents that no dogs are allowed at the beach area. Mike Martin will arrange for the signs to be purchased
Next meeting will be Tuesday July 29 on the beach.

Discussion took place regarding the Budget. The tree at the park was removed and came out of the 2013-2014 Budget, so 2014-2015 Budget will be reduced to $12, 600.00. Proposed Mil Rate will be set at 1 Mil.
Old Business:
Handrail at the end of Lakeview Dr. We need a proposal of cost to make and install.
Goose Repellant- Bird B Gone 4 gallons approximately $400.00. We will order it.
Hoop to be installed at Ball Field next week
Need 2 New Locks 1- Boat Ramp, 2nd at the Shed will buy 2 Combos approximately $35.00/
Mowing of beach and ball field- Bob Allison will chair. We need a Certificate of Insurance
State Marshall to collect back taxes- Christina will contact.

Lakeview Terrace Association, Inc
Board Meeting
October 22, 2013
Meeting was called to order by Bob Allison at Mike Martins 6:35 pm Board members present were Bob Allison, Ray Chicione, Pat Halpin, Christina Pierce, Michelle Pierce, and Marcia Roy.
This Special Meeting was called to discuss State Marshall to collect delinquent taxes.
There are 11 Accounts that have not paid their association taxes prior to 2012 for a grand total of $8,528.97. The Board decided to send the State Marshall to collect the delinquent taxes.
Also, discussed was a tree at the park that has split and part of it came down on an association members’ vehicle. The tree is in CL&P wires. Bob Allison is going to call CL&P.
